We are committed to creating and maintaining a safe, clean environment, ensuring our District will be maintained for generations of students to come.

The Operations Department includes:

Maintenance

o        Care and upkeep of approximately 600,000 square feet of buildings plus grounds.

o        Campus safety:  including fire and security.

o        Maintenance of District owned grounds equipment and maintenance truck fleet.

o        Document archives and storage:  existing and new construction.

o        Pursuit and implementation of new energy resources.  Eliminating waste of valuable utilities:  electric and water.  Ensuring safe and efficient energy for today and tomorrow.

Transportation

o        Safe transportation to and from school.

o        Parent, teacher and student concerns.

o        State of Arizona and Department of Public Services required reports.

o        Safe walking routes to and from school.

Food Services

o        Encourages all children to maintain proper health and diet.

o        Provides healthy, balanced meals for breakfast and lunches.

o        Ensures every child has the opportunity to partake of nutritional programs.

o        Provides nutritional information to all students, parents, teachers and staff.

We will continue to provide all necessary support for our students whether in maintenance of school properties, safe and reliable bus transportation, or nutritional value.
